Whether you use them for conference handouts, product literature, business proposals, or press kits, presentation folders are an excellent way to bolster your brand while keeping important information tight and tidy for your team members or clients.

  • Die-cut business card slots make it easy to provide your customers with your contact information.
  • Consider full-color printing on a glossy cover stock to garner attention.
  • It's what's inside that counts. Valuable marketing space is available on both the pocket and the interior of your folder.

  2. *Size

    ?

The most common size for presentation folders is 9" x 12". This size is designed to hold standard letter-sized (8.5" x 11") documents comfortably.

Legal-sized presentation folders are slightly larger, measuring 9" x 14.5". They are designed to hold legal-sized documents (8.5" x 14").

Mini presentation folders are smaller and measure 6" x 9" or 6.25" x 9.5". They are suitable for holding smaller documents or promotional materials.

  3. *Color Options

    ?

Which color option should I choose?

Most pocket folders are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. If your pocket folders don't contain color images or only have them on one side, you might consider a different option instead.

Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most pocket folders. However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived one-color design can prove an acceptable alternative.

  4. *Paper Choices

    ?

Standard Matte provides an excellent and economical surface but is not recommended for reproducing full-color graphics and high-quality images.

Standard Gloss is an impressive-feeling, heavyweight, glossy paper that makes text and graphics leap off the page.

  7. *Protective Coating

    ?

    What is Aqueous Coating?

Aqueous coating is a clear, fast-drying, water-based coating that is used to protect your print pieces from dirt, fingerprints, and the bumps and tears of daily life. It adds a rich quality to any piece, provides a durable, yet high-gloss, satin/soft-touch finish, and is an excellent choice for your frequently handled print items. This coating option is the least expensive finishing option and is more resistant to paper cracking marks when folded.

    What is UV Coating?

UV coating is a protective coating applied to a printed sheet, then bonded and cured with ultraviolet light. This high-gloss coating is very shiny and durable, protecting products that are handled frequently and reflecting light in an eye-catching way. A unique feature of UV coating is that it can be applied as a spot, meaning you could select which areas you would like coated, whereas aqueous coating is applied as a “flood” or over the entire piece.
